If you have never been to our office before, the first appointment is a complimentary consultation. During this visit you will meet Dr. Laurel Martin, get a complete clinical evaluation, and review the treatment options that apply to your specific case. By the end of the appointment, you will have a clear picture of what treatment would involve, how long it would take, and what it would cost. There is no obligation to commit on the day of your consultation.

To make the most of your first visit, please bring:

• Current dental insurance card and a photo ID
• A list of medications (if any)
• Records from any previous orthodontic treatment (if applicable)
• For minor patients, a parent or guardian
• Any recent X-rays from your general dentist (we can also take new ones in-office if needed)

What to Expect During Active Treatment

Patients in active treatment can expect:

• Adjustment appointments roughly every 4 to 8 weeks for braces, or check-ins every 6 to 10 weeks for aligner therapy
• Direct access to Dr. Martin and our clinical team between visits if questions or issues come up
• Same-week scheduling for orthodontic emergencies, including broken brackets, poking wires, and lost retainers
• A clear treatment timeline and ongoing updates as your case progresses
